The Belgium Campus introduces Saturday classes
The Belgium Campus’s Bachelor in information technology programme can now be followed on Saturdays. This innovation was created for those students who wish to obtain a degree, but are unable to attend class during the week due to various circumstances such as permanent employment.
The degree focuses on software development and is registered with SAQA at NQF level 7. Students who have no prior qualification in information technology will be able to follow this programme over five years, whereas students who already obtained a diploma in IT can complete the programme in as little as two years. This is due to exemptions granted through RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning)
The programme will commence in January 2016 and students will be required to attend class for 30 Saturdays of the year from 08h00 until 17h00. This means that you can enjoy the benefits of full time education, while you are permanently employed.
Classes on Saturdays mean that the student will still be able to be employed while following the programme. The programme is offered at a reasonable Tuition fee which also includes exam fees and study material.
